Kodak Professional Portra 800 is a high-speed, daylight-balanced colour negative film designed for challenging lighting conditions and fast-paced shooting environments. With a nominal sensitivity of ISO 800/30°, it delivers excellent image quality while maintaining natural skin tones, accurate colour reproduction and smooth tonal transitions.
This film features a micro-structure optimised T-GRAIN emulsion that produces remarkably fine grain, high sharpness and excellent edge acutance, even at higher sensitivities. Portra 800 also offers generous underexposure latitude, allowing it to be pushed up to ISO 1600 while retaining highlight and shadow detail.
With vivid yet controlled colour saturation and low overall contrast, Portra 800 is especially well-suited for portraits, weddings, events, documentary work and low-light photography. Advanced development accelerators and antenna dye sensitisation further enhance scanning and enlarging performance.
