Who are you?
We are a small team of passionate photographers, events which led to an establishment of a lab in the heart of Bangalore, out of necessity and lack of facilities back in the year 1970. We want everyone to enjoy photography as an art and/or science and we strive to cater to every photo lovers’ needs.
Why an online store?
We have been and will always cater to film photographers. With the primary interest to promote film photography and to make products available to our fellow photographers, we’re constantly upgrading, to help serve better. With the growing varieties of analogue photographic products, an online store is the best platform to showcase them.
Do you have a retail store?
Yes, we are located in the heart of Bangalore city (Karnataka, India). Please find our store location and directions on the contact us page. We’re open Monday – Friday: 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Some products are expensive!
We understand that some products might be priced at a slightly higher price in comparison to XYZ stores worldwide. However, our margins are very low, there are numerous taxes/charges like Customs duty, GST, Shipping charges etc… that eventually determine the final sale price. Rest assured we’re constantly exploring options to provide products at a very competitive price; however, it may not always be feasible. Our intention is to make most products widely available in India.
Is your website secure?
We have taken measures to ensure that your information is secure. Our online store is implemented with relevant security technologies to enable a great shopping experience.
Do you provide any warranty for the products?
We stock only genuine supplies, most of the products are also tried and tested by us, you can be sure that you will receive only the best. As always, all the products are subject to their manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

How do I reset my account’s password?
Please click on the “Reset password” option below the login page and follow the instructions to generate a new password.
Do I need to pay to create an account on Film Foto Store?
No, it’s free.
Is it mandatory to register for an account on your website?
While it’s not necessary to create an account, you can always checkout as a guest. However, you may lose out on many benefits like tracking your orders, managing multiple addresses, offers and promotions.
Can I ship to a temporary address in India?
Yes, you can. Please update the complete address with alternative contact numbers of the temporary address as the shipping address during checkout; also ensure that you have informed the recipients of the expected order in advance. Especially applicable to our film photographers who are travelling.
Payment
What are my payment options?
We have partnered with Razorpay as our payment gateway to process our online payments. They accept most widely used Credit cards, Debit cards, Netbanking and Payment Wallets.
Alternatively, you can use the “Online bank transfer” or “UPI QR code” option to pay the invoice amount directly to our bank account, details of both can be found during checkout.
Is it secure to pay through Razorpay?
Razorpay is compliant with leading industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and SOC2 making it one of the most secure payment gateways in the world.
What currency do you accept?
We only accept Indian Rupees (INR – ₹) as the currency for transactions at our store.
I’m unable to complete my payment?
Please wait for the payment to process initially, in case it fails, please try again later. If you are still unable to make payment due to various reasons, please capture the error message and write to us before making multiple payment attempts.
Orders & Shipment
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
We process orders within 1-3 business days upon payment confirmation with the exception to film processing orders which can take upto 15 business days from the date of receipt of films.
The standard delivery times for shipped orders are:
BlueDart Express & Delhivery: 3-5 business days | Indian Speed Post: 5-7 business days
Note: Weekends and general holidays will affect delivery time.
How do I track my order?
Once the order is dispatched, you will be able to track using the tracking reference number sent via email note to your registered email address.
I’ve still not received my order?
If you haven’t received your order and it has passed over 15 business days since it was dispatched, please contact us and we’ll look into it at the earliest.
How do I send my rolls for film processing?
We request our customers to wrap the exposed films in a dark bag along with the original film case and wrap it with sufficient packing material, so as to minimize any risk of physical damage and exposure to heat and light.
How will I get the images of the scanned negatives?
Once the films are developed and digitized (scanned), you will receive a WeTransfer link to download the digital images to your registered email address.
Will my images be stored permanently?
Unfortunately we are unable to store digital images of your negatives over 14 days period. Please do not consider it as a backup storage and kindly download the images at the earliest. We are not responsible for images not downloaded within 14 days, as they will be automatically deleted from the server.
Do you ship Internationally?
We only ship orders within India. If you are located outside India and would like to place orders, please contact us to know if shipment can be arranged.
Transit time for international shipments vary from 3-4 weeks on an average.
Please note we are not responsible for any customs charges / duties levied in your country on receipt of the order or any additional charges incurred.
How do I return/ exchange a product?
You can request for a return or exchange, as long as it meets the requirements outlined in our Shipping and Returns page.
